This was our second trip to Sunset Vista and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The trick to a super clean, well stocked, great customer service vacation is to rent through Jill at Makos Vista. They personally manage each of their 9 units and you could literally eat off the floors they were so clean. Jill takes care of all of our travel check in detail before your arrival, sends your parking pass, helpful area information and keypad door code about a week ahead so when you arrive you simply unpack and start your vacation. We've been twice now and will definitely go again. The pools are great for young children, there are a number of good restaurants close by, shopping, attractions etc. The perfect spot for a family to enjoy some family time. Thanks again Jill!

Jill (the owner/manager) was excellent to work with, leaving lots of extras in the condo for us to enjoy. Free beach toys, umbrella etc. for the kids; free brouchers, maps, tips etc. The condo was in great condition, very clean and comfortable. The resort itself was wonderful also. Great pools both for adults and children, nice cafe with sundries to include snacks, drinks etc. Overall, I highly recommend this property, and we will return again and again. Wonderful Place for a Spring Vacation Walk on the Beach   Waukesha Wisconsin. We had a wonderful time in this location.The unit was very clean and new. It was a bit small in the second bedroom for two teenage girls. I liked the area, lots for teens to do. Pool area nice, the beach was fantastic. We will stay again and upgrade to a unit with ocean front vs ocean view if our budget allows being careful not to choose one right over the tiki bar. Recommended for: Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Great Condo 5 from Indy   Avon, IN, USA. Date Submitted: April 06, 2009   Date of Stay: March 2009 We just spent a great Spring Break week at Sunset Vistas. The condo is in excellent condition with fabulous beach and sunset views. It is a very short walk from the complex to the beach and we enjoyed our daily walks. We also had fun shell hunting. The condo has lots of extras like beach chairs and pool/beach toys. We visited friends at other resorts along Treasure Island and we definitely had the nicer condo. The kids loved the pool and the ice cream cart the most. We ate at 3 different restaurants at John's Pass and had good meals at all 3. We also enjoyed miniture golf at Smugglers Cove in Maderia Beach just 5 minutes up the road (a little pricey but fun none the less). I would highly recommend this property to anyone and we hope to visit again next year. Excellent stay in February 2009 Love Madeira Beach   Saginaw, MI. Date Submitted: February 22, 2009   Date of Stay: February 2009 Our stay at the Sunset Vista could not have been more perfect! It was perfect for our family of four (two adults, one teenager, and a 10-year-old). The accommodations were clean, well kept and our ocean-front condo was just what we needed for a winter getaway. My husband and I enjoyed a walk on the beach every morning watched the sun come up. The pool and hot tub were exceptional and the grounds were very well taken care of. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a fun, relaxing vacation. It is within walking distance to John's Pass. Thanks! Sunset Vista Nomullies   Mississauga. Date Submitted: August 22, 2008   Date of Stay: August 2008 Two adults and three teens for this terrific condo. It is clean and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Little things like beach chairs, numerous towels, three tv's and more make this the perfect accommodation. It is easily the best place we have ever stayed. Internet was of the wired variety so you plug in directly. If you have one though, bring a router. There is wireless but not in the unit and not reliable. Combination keypad is very useful. No keys or cards! Great salt water pool and the gulf is a 30 second walk. The unique shape of the building gives everyone a great view of the gulf on a very nice patio. Need pizza? Try Original Pizza down the street. John's Pass less than a mile walk up the street (over-rated but necessary if you want to do things like seadoos or wind-sailing, etc.). Don't hesitate to book this place, it is outstanding. Great place to stay! VA mom   Richmond, VA. Date Submitted: August 20, 2008   Date of Stay: August 2008 We had a great week at Sunset Vistas. The beach is wonderful and very close (we noticed that some of the other gulf- front condos on Treasure Island were set much farther back and required quite a hike down to the water). We had a beautiful view from our condo and the sunsets were amazing. The beach never felt crowded. The building is new and well-maintained. My kids loved the pools. We appreciated the extras provided in the condo, like beach towels and toys. While the rooms were a bit smaller than what we're used to, we knew that going in and the size was fine for 2 adults and 2 small kids. While there wasn't a huge selection of restaurants to choose from, there were plenty. We enjoyed Sloppy Joe's, which has seating outside overlooking the gulf. We never got around to trying the cafe at the property, but the menu had a nice selection. We took the kids on the pirate cruise in Clearwater and they had a great time! Jill was great to work with and everything was as described. We would rent from this company again. Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car

Sunset Vista Condo Kathy128   West Virginia. Date Submitted: August 02, 2008   Date of Stay: July 2008 We had a wonderful stay in this condo in July of 2008. We took my husband's 80 year old mother and our 22 year old son and we all loved it. It was our second stay at this complex and I am sure we will return. The area has lots of restaurants and entertainment for all ages. There is a great Tiki bar by the pool and they have music on the weekend in the evenings. The complex also has a cafe that provides breakfast and sandwiches. There is also an ice cream shop right beside the building. Umbrellas, cabanas, and chairs can also be rented on the beach right in front of the complex. The condo was clean and well stocked with everything you would expect plus nice extras such as beach chairs, beach towels, and beach toys. There were plenty of extra pillows and blankets for the sleeper sofa. The view of the gulf is fantastic. Our communication with the owner Jill by e-mail and phone was prompt and friendly. Making the arrangements was quick and painless. I highly recommend this property for anyone. Great Family rental Mudslide   Cumming, GA USA. Date Submitted: July 31, 2008   Date of Stay: July 2008 We would recommend this property. It was a very nice, right on the beach, and close to everything. They had a live band on the weekends which played some really good music,they had people up and dancing. We got to watch from our balcony which was really good. The pools where clean and the hot tubs were nice and HOT!!! The beach was also really nice. I spent most of my time on the beach while my husband played with our girls in the pool. They loved it there. I hope to go back soon. Great place Recommended for: Families with Young Children

If you like the beach, this is the place to be. Right on the white sandy beach, nice pool area also. Great accomodations for a family of 4. Grocery shopping close by, no need to travel far.
